Digital Marketing/Design Intern
We’re looking for energetic, proactive, and creative interns who love music. Gain hands-on experience in digital marketing practices and tools, music publicity and media relations, social media and more. A great internship to build out your creative and design portfolios. We have hired star interns in the past. Our clients include musicians from a variety of genres, record labels, and management companies.
Responsibilities:
Assist team with daily research and pitch creative PR & marketing ideas to the team
Assist in the execution of digital marketing plans
Assist in on-site photo and video shoots with artist clients
Help create social and video content - some design and editing projects
Write social copy, newsletters, artist messaging, bios and more
Create reports and gain hands-on experience with advanced music marketing platforms and insights
Assist in publicity outreach, maintenance of media lists, press kits
Assist in the quality-check of artist websites, social media sites and overall artist branding
Other duties as assigned by publicity and marketing teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in school majoring in marketing, public relations, communications, advertising, graphic design, or related field
Must be at least 18 years old, able to commit to 2-3 days weekly and provide own laptop and transportation to our Los Angeles office.
Passionate about music and learning more about the music industry: knowledgeable about different artists and genres, keen on live shows, etc.
Social media proficiency (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Spotify, etc) and familiar with current social media trends, platforms, and music blogs
Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and excellent written and oral communication skills
Photoshop and graphic design experience preferred
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge a plus
Publicity/Public Relations Intern

Assist our publicists on new album releases, product launches or national tour press. Make the most of your experience and make the connections that matter now. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Pitching creative ideas and providing integral research to our publicists
Updating contact databases, managing press lists, researching media outlets, assisting in mailings
Compiling press reports, managing press clippings and pulling key quotes
Writing press releases and pitches
Attending and sometimes assisting at client shows, album launches, cultural events and more in the Los Angeles area
Updating company website and assist in socials
Assisting publicity and marketing teams as needed
Qualifications:
Passionate about music and familiar with music industry blogs, outlets, podcasts and artist trends.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and organization skills
Motivated self-starter able to prioritize, multitask and demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school majoring in communications, publication relations, marketing or related field
Must be at least 18 years old, able to commit to 2-3 days weekly and provide own transportation to our Los Angeles office.
